Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Sherif Farouk and Minister of Industry Khaled Hashem inaugurated on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Fi Africa and ProPak MENA 2026, the flagship exhibitions for the food manufacturing and packaging sectors held under the Africa Food Manufacturing umbrella.
The event comes as part of ongoing government efforts to support and develop the industrial and domestic trade sectors, while enhancing food security, expanding the availability of essential commodities and boosting Egyptian exports. This year's edition, organized by Informa Markets company, has attracted broad local and international participation, reflecting growing interest in the exhibition.
More than 450 exhibitors from over 35 countries are showcasing the latest manufacturing technologies and innovative solutions, creating opportunities for international partnerships and technology transfer. The exhibition is expected to attract more than 15,000 visitors and industry professionals from the food manufacturing, packaging and trade sectors.
It also features an extensive conference program with over 50 experts and industry leaders discussing key developments and trends in the sector.
