The Red Sea Ports Authority’s media centre said on Sunday, September 13, 2026, that its ports recorded a total of 13 ship movements, including arrivals and departures, with 13,000 tons of cargo, 661 trucks and 132 cars handled. In a statement, the media centre said imports accounted for seven ships, 7,000 tons of cargo, 417 trucks and 90 cars, while exports included six ships, 6,000 tons of cargo, 244 trucks and 42 cars.
Safaga Port received three ships — POSEIDON EXPRESS, Al Hurriya and Amal — while ALCUDIA EXPRESS and BRIDGE departed the port. The media centre added that Nuweiba Port handled 6,500 tons of cargo and 252 trucks through shuttle trips operated by four ships: Al Hussein, Sina, Ayla and Our.
A total of 1,258 passengers arrived at or departed from the authority’s ports.
