Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly reviewed on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, government efforts to strengthen the investment climate in the Sinai Peninsula, stressing the importance of attracting diversified investment to support development, create jobs and make better use of the region's economic potential.
These remarks came during Madbouly's meeting with senior officials. The participants outlined a package of measures introduced to encourage investment, including incentives for investors, regular reviews of challenges facing companies operating in Sinai and legislative updates aimed at supporting business activity.
The meeting also reviewed progress in simplifying investment procedures, including the establishment of an Investor Services Centre in South Sinai, where representatives of relevant government agencies provide licensing and approval services. Additionally, Madbouly was also briefed on coordination between the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones and the National Authority for the Development of the Sinai Peninsula, which has helped speed up the processing of investment applications and reduce approval times.
