Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom discussed on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, the expansion strategy of NI Consulting, a subsidiary of the National Investment Bank (NIB), as part of efforts to strengthen its role as a national advisory firm serving both the public and private sectors.
During a meeting with senior officials from the NIB and NI Consulting, Rostom reviewed the company's integrated consulting services and plans to expand its activities in areas including strategic planning, business development and project management. NI Consulting is a specialized, privately-managed consulting subsidiary of NIB.
The expansion strategy targets priority sectors such as education and labor markets, healthcare, information technology, environmental sustainability, trade and logistics, food security, manufacturing and infrastructure. The discussions came within the framework of the government's broader efforts to restructure the National Investment Bank and its affiliated companies to enhance their contribution to economic development, increase private sector participation and strengthen public-private partnerships.
Rostom said NI Consulting is positioned to serve as a national center of expertise, providing specialized advisory services, project management, capacity-building, data analysis and institutional development support to investors, private businesses and government entities.
He added that the ministry aims to maximize the role of the bank's subsidiaries in improving the efficiency of public investments and supporting Egypt's economic and social development objectives.
