The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and immediate past Governor of Osun State, Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola, has paid glowing tribute to renowned businessman, philanthropist, and Islamic leader, Asiwaju Khamis Olatunde Badmus, on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary.
In a heartfelt congratulatory message issued today by his Special Adviser, Dr. Bolaji Akinola, the Minister described the elder statesman’s attainment of the milestone age as “a testament to the grace of Almighty Allah and a life richly devoted to humanity, community, and national development.” Oyetola commended Asiwaju Badmus for his immense contributions to the socio-economic advancement of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole, noting that his legacy of service, enterprise, and moral leadership continues to inspire generations across the country.
According to him, Asiwaju Badmus has distinguished himself over the decades as a symbol of visionary leadership, resilience, and unwavering commitment to progress. He particularly praised the celebrant’s role as the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, including Edo, and Delta States, describing him as a beacon of spiritual guidance and communal harmony.
