CEO of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) Moustafa Hassan asserted that the sessions of the “Egypt Forum 2026” are highly important for supporting entrepreneurship, as they bring together genuine entrepreneurs and successful business owners.
This provides an opportunity to exchange experiences, engage in direct dialogue to identify the challenges facing business owners and work toward practical solutions, helping support new entrepreneurs and enhance their chances of success. In an interview with Channel 1 of Egyptian Television on the sidelines of his participation in the forum, Hassan explained that the role of MSMEDA, in cooperation with state institutions, is to facilitate entrepreneurs’ journeys and create favorable conditions to help them launch their businesses, sustain operations and maximize their chances of success.
He noted that the most important criterion for measuring the success of the agency’s interventions is not limited to establishing new businesses, but also extends to their ability to survive, grow, and expand. He stressed that the primary objective is to help companies overcome the start-up phase and transition from emerging and small and medium-sized enterprises into larger, more sustainable businesses.
