Our priorities remain centered on adopting balanced fiscal policies that support robust growth, generate sufficient and appropriate job opportunities, and advance inclusive development efforts—all while maintaining ongoing fiscal improvements and long-term government debt sustainability.
This requires targeting high economic growth rates, achieving a substantial primary surplus, and increasing budget revenues by broadening the tax base and simplifying procedures, working to reduce the ratio of debt-servicing to both GDP and total expenditures, while ensuring a sustained downward trajectory for the budget-sector debt-to-GDP ratio.
In this context, we are committed to adopting consistent economic and fiscal policies that will allow us to achieve these objectives. This approach will create significant fiscal space in the coming years while supporting robust, employment-driven growth led primarily by the private sector.
