Housing Minister Randa el Menshawy reviewed progress on road, utility and service projects in several new cities, directing officials to accelerate infrastructure work and improve services. The housing ministry is implementing road upgrades in New Fayoum, New Cairo, Hadayek October, New Suez, New Assiut, Badr and Hadayek 10th of Ramadan, according to a ministry statement.
In New Fayoum, work has begun on the second phase of a strategic road linking the city with Fayoum, with completion targeted within one year instead of the originally planned 24 months. Projects elsewhere include paving and expanding roads, upgrading drainage and utility networks, improving traffic safety and enhancing links between residential, industrial and service areas to support investment and urban development.
