Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar held, Tuesday, June 9, 2026, talks with representatives of Science Ajeer company to discuss investment opportunities in Egypt’s healthcare sector. This comes as part of the ministry's efforts to expand private-sector participation in healthcare services.
During the talks, Abdel Ghaffar said that Egypt is working to attract new healthcare investments to improve service quality and strengthen medical infrastructure. He added that the government is seeking broader cooperation with private-sector partners to support the development of healthcare facilities and expand access to integrated medical services.
According to Health Ministry spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the meeting reviewed potential areas of cooperation and ways to benefit from the company’s international expertise in healthcare projects. For their part, Science Ajeer representatives outlined plans to expand in the Egyptian market and expressed their commitment to meeting local needs and operating in line with national regulations and standards.
