Page Content ​Dr. Mohamed Awad: We remain committed to maintaining constructive dialogue with the Union as it is a main representative of GAFI staff. We are keen to enhance the work environment and provide a supportive atmosphere that boosts institutional performance and efficiency across GAFI.

Strengthening institutional and labor stability will remain a key priority during the coming period. Dr. Mohamed Awad, the Chief Executive Officer of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI CEO), held a meeting with members of GAFI Staff Union to discuss a number of issues related to the work environment and employee support.

During the meeting, Dr. Awad underscored the importance of maintaining ongoing dialogue with the Union, as it a main representative of GAFI staff, while emphasizing the importance of improving the work environment in a manner that contributes to maximizing performance and efficiency.

A number of proposals and employee-related matters, as well as avenues for strengthening cooperation, were also discussed during the meeting. The discussions further included a review of the Union’s committee’s internal platform dedicated to presenting memoranda, proposals, and initiatives, in a manner that supports institutional communication channels and reinforces stability.

In this context, GAFI Staff Union announced its readiness to launch initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of professional excellence, strengthening institutional commitment, and maximizing performance across GAFI. On their part, the Union representatives expressed their appreciation for GAFI CEO’s keenness to convene the meeting, affirming their support for ongoing efforts to develop the work environment and promote stability for employees.

The meeting concluded with the Union representatives presenting a commemorative shield to Dr. Awad in recognition of his efforts and as a gesture underscoring the commitment to strengthening cooperation within GAFI.
