The Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to nation-building through deliberate investment in leadership development. The General Overseer, Sam Aboyeji, renewed the support on Friday during a press conference ahead of the SWITCH 5.0 conference in Lagos.

Aboyeji warned that the country’s future hinged on the quality of leadership, adding that the church was intentional about producing individuals who would drive change in governance, business and society. He said the 2026 edition of the conference, themed “Graced Pacesetters,” would challenge participants to take on leadership roles with purpose, integrity and a sense of responsibility.
The event is scheduled for May 2, 2026, at the church’s national headquarters in Yaba, Lagos, and is expected to attract students, young professionals and aspiring leaders. Speakers at the conference include the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Chairman, Lagos, Pastor Yemi Davids; Board Chairman, Ikeja Electric and GMD Sahara Power Group, Dr Kola Adesina, among others.
