Egypt’s net international reserves rose to $57.3482 billion by the end of September 2026, according to figures the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) released on Wednesday October 7,2026.Reserves increased by $133.7 million from $57.2145 billion at the end of August, a monthly rise of approximately 0.23 percent.
They stood at $56.2939 billion at the end of July. International reserves provide a buffer for meeting import needs and servicing external debt, while supporting foreign-exchange market stability. The latest increase comes alongside stronger foreign-currency inflows.
