Chairman of Cairo Chamber of Commerce Ayman El-Ashry and President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Anant Goenka signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a joint Egyptian-Indian Chamber of Commerce. The new chamber is envisioned to provide an institutional framework to promote trade, investment, and industrial partnerships, utilizing local currencies to ease financial settlements and build flexible supply chains integrating Indian technology with Egypt's Suez Canal logistics.
