ALMATY – Kazakh singer and global artist Dimash Qudaibergen has added another prestigious accolade to his collection, earning the Weibo Macau China Award for Annual Contribution to International Cultural Exchange at the 2026 Weibo Gala: Cultural Exchange Night on April 11.
The ceremony, held at the Venetian Macao Arena in Macau, brought together leading figures from music, entertainment, and cultural industries across the region. The award marks a significant milestone for Qudaibergen—his first international recognition in a producing capacity, signaling an expansion of his artistic influence beyond performing.
Qudaibergen, who holds the distinguished title of People's Artist of Kazakhstan, participated fully in the evening's proceedings, walking the red carpet before taking the stage for the musical program. He closed out the gala's musical segment with a commanding performance of his original composition "Fire," weaving together English vocals with a rap passage delivered in Kazakh. The hybrid performance underscored his signature approach of bridging cultural boundaries through music.
Following the ceremony, the artist took to Instagram to share his appreciation with followers and collaborators alike. In his message, Qudaibergen highlighted the collective nature of the achievement, expressing gratitude to the team behind his Voice Beyond Horizon project. "Among Kazakhs, there is a saying that one person alone cannot win a battle," he wrote. "I embrace all of you. I believe this is the merit of the entire team."
The 2026 Weibo Gala: Cultural Exchange Night continues to serve as a platform recognizing individuals and projects that strengthen cultural ties across borders, with Qudaibergen's recognition reflecting both his artistic versatility and the growing international reach of Kazakh cultural production.
