The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) announced that Egypt’s exports to France increased to $1.14 billion in 2025, compared to $1.09 billion in 2024, marking a 4.6% rise. Meanwhile, Egyptian imports from France recorded $1.82 billion in 2025, down from $1.85 billion in 2024, a 1.6% decrease.
This came in a press release issued by CAPMAS detailing economic relations between Egypt and France, coinciding with the reception of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for French President Emmanuel Macron. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and mark the inauguration of Senghor University's new headquarters.
According to CAPMAS data, total trade exchange between the two countries reached $2.96 billion in 2025, up from $2.94 billion in 2024, reflecting a 1% increase.
