Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired the government's weekly meeting on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the New Capital to discuss a number of political, economic and social issues on the government's agenda, as well as review progress in implementing presidential directives in a timely and effective manner.
The cabinet is expected to review outcomes of the prime minister's recent tour of Cairo Governorate, during which he inspected and inaugurated a number of projects. Ministers will also discuss measures to ensure sufficient strategic commodity reserves, continue efforts to curb inflation, increase spending on health, education and social protection and monitor market stability and the availability of food commodities.
The meeting will further address progress in national projects nationwide, social protection measures for vulnerable groups, education and healthcare development plans, investment promotion, export growth, industrial localization and implementation of Egypt Vision 2030.
The cabinet will also follow up on previous decisions related to investment, industry, exports, agricultural expansion, allocation of industrial land for investors, social safety net programs, tax reforms, development initiatives across various sectors and measures aimed at supporting low-income citizens and meeting public needs.
