The Damietta Port Authority said the port received seven vessels and saw the departure of six others over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vessels currently at the port to 13. The authority, in a statement issued on Sunday, September 13, 2026, said that exports of general cargo totaled 35,540 tons, including 2,418 tons of Molasses, 8,125 tons of bagged gypsum, and 1,644 tons of bagged salt.
Imports of general cargo amounted to 13,557 tons, including 5,500 tons of corn, 1,253 tons of iron 2,200 tons of scrap metal and 3,946 tons of assorted goods.
