Value Crest Holding Group for Investments Board Chairman Kyrillos Ezzat on Saturday, July 18, 2026, said that Egypt should continue building national companies capable of competing on the global stage, voicing support for the state's efforts in that direction.
Ezzat, in statements to MENA on Saturday, said the Egyptian economy possesses all the fundamentals needed to achieve unprecedented growth thanks to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. He said international experience has demonstrated that empowering small and medium-sized enterprises is the most effective path to sustainable economic growth, adding that Egypt's economy could expand tenfold if such a model were implemented in an integrated manner.
Ezzat said Value Crest aims to rank among the world's top 10 companies in its sector over the next decade while managing its international investments from Egypt. He added that the company is an important national player in Egypt and Africa, describing the continent as the most attractive investment destination due to its abundant natural resources and vast economic potential.
Value Crest is also working to position Egypt as the main gateway for investment into Africa while helping develop business leaders and entrepreneurs capable of leading companies and industries in ways that support the national economy and enhance the global competitiveness of Egyptian firms, Ezzat added.
