Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly stressed the importance of thorough preparations for launching the second phase of the Presidential initiative "Decent Life", drawing on lessons learned from the implementation of the first phase to ensure the timely completion and operation of planned projects.
Madbouly said the goal is to accelerate the handover of projects according to their scheduled timelines, helping achieve the initiative's objective of improving the quality and efficiency of services provided to residents of targeted rural villages across a wide range of sectors.
The remarks came during a meeting held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the government headquarters in New Alamein City to review ongoing preparations for the second phase of the national rural development initiative. Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed El-Homosani said that the meeting reviewed the details and components of the second phase of the initiative, as well as the proposed implementation timetable for development and service projects aimed at improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
The meeting also reviewed progress made under the first phase of the "Decent Life" initiative, highlighting the large number of projects that have been completed, as well as those that have been delivered and have already entered service across various development and public service sectors.
