Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said that the government continues to support industrial projects, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, as part of efforts to expand local drug manufacturing and create more job opportunities. Madbouly made the remarks during a visit to the factory of Eva Pharma in Giza.
Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said the state is working to provide incentives and facilities for pharmaceutical companies to attract investment, support technology transfer, meet local demand, and increase exports. During the visit, EVA Pharma Managing Director Riad Armanious said that the company produces more than one million pharmaceutical products daily through four manufacturing facilities and exports to more than 40 countries worldwide.
He added that the company is expanding its production capacity through new fast-dissolving medicine production lines with an annual capacity of 100 million units, in addition to logistics and storage expansions. Madbouly toured laboratories, production and packaging lines, and storage facilities during the visit.
