Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Karim Badawi emphasized the importance of investing in human cadres, empowering talents, and maximizing accumulated expertise to enhance performance efficiency, accelerate work plans, and achieve production and operational targets for petroleum sector companies.
In this regard, the Minister of Petroleum issued a limited appointment movement for chairpersons of several sector companies to fill positions vacated by retirees, alongside introducing new leaders to enhance performance and management efficiency. The Minister also issued an expanded appointment movement covering assistant company chairpersons and general managers in exploration, contracts, and supplies, supporting workflow efficiency and expertise utilization.
A Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ministry statement noted that these appointments come within the framework of infusing new blood into leadership positions.
