The fleet of JSC Passenger Transportation was replenished with 50 new passenger carriages manufactured at the Kazakhstan plant in Petropavlovsk. Modern carriages began running on route No. 31/32 "Pavlodar-Almaty", providing passengers with comfort and improved transportation conditions.

The train consists of 10 carriages, including 3 compartment and 7 reserved seat carriages, designed to carry more than 400 people in one direction. The train runs daily. Departure from Pavlodar is at 09:00, arrival in Almaty is at 11:44 the next day. From Almaty, the train departs at 15:20 and arrives in Pavlodar at 18:02 the next day.

"In his speech, the head of state emphasized the importance of upgrading passenger cars as one of the key areas of transport infrastructure development. As part of this instruction, our company is actively working on upgrading the car fleet, which is a strategic priority for our company.

Today, the updated train is being launched on the Pavlodar-Almaty route. These changes will be a significant stage in the development of transport links between the northern and southern regions of Kazakhstan," said Anuar Akhmetzhanov, General Director of Passenger Transportation JSC.

The new cars are built taking into account modern global requirements for design, safety, operational reliability and comfort of passenger transportation. Each compartment has ergonomic berths, individual LED lights, headrests and ports for charging mobile devices (two USB ports and two power outlets), so that passengers in the compartment can charge their gadgets simultaneously.

The cars are also equipped with special compartments and places for strollers for passengers with disabilities, and a conductor call button provides additional comfort. The service life of the cars is up to 40 years, which guarantees their long-term operation. Over the past two years, JSC Passenger Transportation purchased 307 domestically produced cars, of which 200 have already been put into operation, including 50 cars sent by the National Carrier to route No.
