The Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Ahmed Rostom, paid an inspection visit to Port Said Governorate to review the progress of work on several development and service projects. This visit comes as part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to oversee the implementation of the economic and social development plan.
The Ministry has also been working diligently to improve the management of public investments in order to enhance the efficiency of investment spending. The Minister of Youth and Sports, Gawhar Nabil, also participated in the tour, along with a number of senior officials from both ministries.
Ahmed Rostom stressed that this field tour is entirely coping with the government’s approach to close monitoring on the ground and ensuring that financial resources are directed to projects that directly contribute to improving the standard of living of citizens.
