The core agenda focused on the investment framework established during the Oval Office meeting in November 2025, when the two presidents outlined a series of joint projects spanning energy, logistics, manufacturing, and critical minerals processing. Officials say commercial teams have been advancing feasibility work across multiple sectors, though specific project allocations remain under negotiation.
Kazakhstan presented its proactive economic growth strategy during the Washington consultations, emphasizing its position as a gateway for trade between Europe and Asia as well as its expanding industrial base in mining, steel, and cement production.
Broader Diplomatic Agenda
Beyond trade and investment, Kazykhan briefed the U.S. side on Kazakhstan's sweeping political and socio-economic reforms aimed at modernizing state institutions, strengthening rule of law, and improving governance effectiveness. The two delegations discussed implementation of the Abraham Accords, which have created new diplomatic and commercial channels between Israel and several Arab nations.
