ASTANA – A new player has entered the regional fuel market – JanaPort Jet. Kazakh businesspeople Rakhman Asambayev, Kanat Kopbayev and Orazkhan Karsybekov established the company with equal ownership, representing the Jupiter Jet and Nomad Tankers sides. The transaction was completed in accordance with Kazakhstan’s legislation and the regulations of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC).

The company will also apply artificial intelligence technologies in its operations. JanaPort Jet is launching its operations with accreditation from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as a strategic partner in aviation fuel supply. The company has been included in IATA’s international partner registry, giving it direct access to international airlines seeking fuel suppliers in the region.
The company’s key objectives are developing fuel, refueling and logistics infrastructure; improving the accuracy of aviation fuel supply planning for airports; reducing the risk of disruptions to airlines’ fuel supply, including for transit flights; providing airlines, airports and cargo operators with predictive analytics to support transportation planning; developing new cost-effective routes using artificial intelligence; strengthening Kazakhstan’s transit and logistics potential as a Eurasian hub.
The project’s analytical foundation will be powered by EchelonAlpha technologies. “The establishment of JanaPort Jet is aimed at developing aviation fuel and ground infrastructure in Kazakhstan. The application of Echelon Alpha technologies will enable data-driven decision-making and improve the efficiency of cargo and transit transportation,” said JanaPort Jet co-founder Kopbayev.
JanaPort Jet co-founder and Echelon Alpha founder Asambayev provided details on the scale of the data analyzed. “To date, 200 million flights have been analyzed. The data obtained makes it possible to identify bottlenecks and opportunities at each airport, generate well-founded forecasts, plan transportation volumes, fuel supplies and cargo flow structures,” he said.
It is worth recalling that in August this year, Asambayev presented Echelon Alpha’s aviation analysis and forecasting technologies to Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. Following the presentation, the head of government instructed the full-scale implementation of projects aimed at the technological transformation of the transport sector across the country.
Jupiter Jet is a Kazakh cargo airline registered in 2004 and headquartered in Almaty. In September 2026, the airline received its first Boeing 757-200PCF cargo aircraft, named Abai Qunanbaiuly, under a leasing agreement. The aircraft arrived from the United States at Turkistan International Airport.
