Minister of Labor Hassan Raddad and Governor of Daqahlia Tareq Marzouq held a meeting with investors and businessmen in the Daqahlia Industrial Zone. The meeting brought together officials and investors to strengthen cooperation between the ministry and the private sector.
The meeting aimed to support investment and production, as well as provide decent job opportunities for young people. The minister stressed that Egypt places investment and production at the top of its priorities, viewing them as key drivers of economic and essential pillars for increasing employment opportunities and achieving comprehensive development.
Hassan Raddad noted that the Ministry of Labor is committed to strengthening partnerships with investors and businessmen as key partners in development, adding that the new Labor Law No. 14 of 2025 is based on achieving balance and stability in labour relations, while fostering an investment-friendly environment that protects the rights of both employers and workers and encourages expansion, productivity growth, and job creation.
Raddad also explained that the new law takes into account evolving labor market dynamics and provides enhanced guarantees and stability for investors, thereby improving the business climate and reinforcing job security within the private sector. The minister also called on investors to expand co-operation with the Ministry in implementing the “training for employment” approach, noting that vocational training systems are being continuously developed and aligned with actual labor market needs across governorates through fixed training centers and mobile units, to ensure the preparation of skilled and qualified workers in line with industry requirements.
He added that the ministry’s role extends beyond regulation and oversight to facilitating investment procedures and ensuring a safe, stable, and conducive work environment that supports production while safeguarding workers’ rights and welfare.
