Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk said artificial intelligence is playing a key role in developing the workflow within the Finance Ministry. Speaking to Nile News TV channel, Kouchouk pointed out that a specialized AI department has been established to support the ministry’s digital transformation efforts.
The minister said AI technologies are being integrated into daily operations to simplify procedures, improve services, reduce costs, and accelerate government performance. He added that the ministry is expanding electronic services and enhancing data accessibility to improve communication with taxpayers, investors, and partners, while using AI-driven data analysis to support decision-making and boost transparency.
The minister also stressed the importance of the private sector as a key driver of economic growth, affirming continued support for investors, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. Kouchouk further highlighted the success of the e-invoice and e-receipt systems in strengthening digital governance and improving the efficiency of financial procedures.
