Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Hussein Issa affirmed that the Egyptian economy has demonstrated strong resilience in the face of successive regional and global challenges, managing to maintain positive growth rates thanks to the economic and structural reforms adopted by the state over the past years.He noted that there is ongoing coordination among ministers of the economic group to ensure the integration of economic policies and the achievement of their targets.
His remarks came during a seminar, held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, by the Coordination's Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP) to discuss the future of the Egyptian economy, updates on the economic reform program, and the state’s efforts to restructure, develop, and improve the efficiency of state-owned assets, companies, and economic authorities, in addition to policies aimed at strengthening and empowering the private sector and expanding its participation in economic activity.
Issa began his speech by extending congratulations on the 13th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, stressing that it will remain a pivotal national milestone in Egypt’s history, as it embodied the free will of the Egyptian people to preserve their identity and protect their national resources.
He said it reflected the highest level of cohesion between the people and their armed forces, noting that the revolution saved the state, established the foundations of the New Republic, and paved the way for a comprehensive and unprecedented development journey across the country.He added it represents a successful national idea and a strong political and party bloc that reflects the energy and innovative ideas of Egyptian youth, highlighting its influential presence in political and public life, whether through the distinguished legislative and political performance of its members in the House of Representatives and the Senate, or through the national competencies it includes.
