Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired the Cabinet’s weekly meeting on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the government headquarters in the New Capital to review key political, economic and social issues and follow up on the implementation of presidential directives.The meeting reviewed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s activities, including the opening of the first Alamein-Africa Business Forum, and government preparations for the Egypt Forum 2026, which was called for by the president.
The Cabinet also discussed measures to curb inflation, increase spending on healthcare, education and social protection, strengthen market oversight, ensure adequate supplies of food commodities and advance national projects across Egypt.The agenda covered efforts to expand social protection for vulnerable groups, improve healthcare and education, promote investment and comprehensive development, boost exports and localize industries in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
The Cabinet further reviewed progress on investment, industry and exports, expansion of agricultural land, allocation of industrial land to investors, social security and tax policy, as well as measures to support low-income households and meet citizens’ needs.
